Breast Self-Exam and Mammogram Reminder

Monthly breast self-examinations are an important part of your breast health. Together with annual clinical breast exams performed by a health care professional and yearly mammograms after the age of 40, monthly breast self-exams can greatly increase the chance that you'll find any breast changes early. Let Eastchester Center for Cancer Care help you remember your monthly breast self-exam. If you'll fill out the form below, we'll e-mail you on the date you request to remind you to perform your self-exam. To help you pick a reminder date, keep in mind that menstruating women should perform a breast self-exam on the 5th or 7th day after the menstrual period begins. Other women should choose the same day each month to perform a breast self-exam. Whatever day you choose, being vigilant about your monthly breast self-exam is essential to your long-term breast health.
